STEM Makers for K/1

For young elementary students, we offer a 6-week class as an introduction to STEM subjects through hands-on projects. Each project teaches another fundamental concept in science or engineering; arts and mathematics are integrated into these projects. Students will work with basic items to create several independent projects including; a wearable light-up circuit, pixel art through mathematics, magnetism, mechanical engineering, and forces and motions through two physics projects. All materials and supplies are provided for each project and are included in the enrollment fees. 

Students need a clear workspace to complete projects, along with basic school supplies: tape, scissors, pen, pencil, and markers.  Students do not require any special tools to participate.
