This 10 session course combines Intro to Scratch coding and Game design.
Participants will be introduced to logic of coding and programming through SCRATCH, the coding language developed by M.I.T. Through use of a graphical drag and drop interface, students learn how to create simple programs that are fun, animated and personalized. By building a basic game, students learn key programming techniques such as repetitions, loops, scoring, variables and other techniques that makes a game compelling and something to share with others.
NOTE: Participants must have access to a computer (not a tablet) in order to participate in this class.
